Change of (Writing) Plans

I've been thinking about the way I talk about my "up and coming" novels. Originally, I decided to have a single post highlighting "what I'm currently writing" and refer back to it but now I've concluded that might not be the way to go.

Instead, I'm going to make a blog post every time it updates. That way nothing can be missed and I can create fun graphics highlighting the stories! (I'm really enjoying making graphics lately.)

With that in mind, welcome to the current "Writing List".

So, what does a "current writing list" mean? Simply put, these are the stories I want to give my attention to and complete before anything else on my WIP list.

Animal Handling is a contemporary shifter romance that is about halfway finished. Full summary is below:

Ross Murphy has a single mission. Get a well paying job in the city to help save his father's farm.

He's spent his whole life helping his father keep everything afloat. The man will do anything to help a wounded or rejected animal, but it's draining them dry.

But good jobs, even in the city, are hard to come by. So Ross redoubles his efforts, listing everything he's ever done on the farm in his resume.

He gets an interview.

The company wants him to work as a personal assistant to the handsome, rich and secretive Elias Everett. It pays brilliantly and the main stipulation is to be available twenty-four seven for five days a month to assist the billionaire however he needs it. In particular, by looking after his exotic pet.

Ross doesn't see hide or hair of the elusive animal for the first few weeks, but he's worked with everything from aggressive dogs to alligators. He's sure he can handle it.

But when he steps downstairs into what amounts to a large cage to meet a pacing, growling, wolf. Ross is horrified. He's prepared to lose his job and save the poor animal from its imprisoned fate.

Only, it seems Ross has bitten off more than he'd ever expected, because when the time comes for Elias to return home, he learns the man is already there.

Apparently, there's more to the quiet businessman and snarling wolf than meets the eye.

Elevated Tensions is a contemporary office romance that I wrote years ago but am planning to re-write and extend. *Summary to come.

The Howlers is a fantasy shifter romance that I wrote a few thousand words of for a Facebook writing event and now wish to extend. *Summary to come.

I will still continue to update my original "WIP" blog post to reflect my writing plans. (Which you can find here). I'm hopeful that updating my blog like this will make me more determined to stick to my ideas rather than getting distracted by the next shiny plot to enter my brain!

And speaking off shiny plot ideas, I have some lovely novels already finished and coming out this year!

The Real Thing is already released and gaining so many wonderful reviews, I'm incredibly flattered! This is a friends-to-lovers Valentines romance. You can find it at your favourite digital store here. Or add it to your shelf on Goodreads here.

Rising Heat is coming up for pre-order on the 22nd of February. This is a steamy romance between a fireman and a man known for his disinterest in relationships. Can this fireman be the guy to change his mind?

To find out place the date in your calendar and get ready to pre-order on Amazon or First For Romance. You can also add it to your bookshelf at Goodreads.

Dangerous Ignition has a pre-order of the 5th of March! So stay tuned for more details on this enemies to lovers, bikers romance with a hint of bdsm!

And with that, I'll wrap up this blog post. Thank you for reading to the very end. I hope you've found a novel to pique your interest and if not, tell me what would! I might have a story next on the list that is perfect for you.

In the mean time, have a lovely day!
